Maybe I am just an Old Geezer – but listening to today’s music – I wonder what songs will bring back fond memories to the youth of today? When they are in their 70’s & 80’s will they long to relive their past with songs of Pop, Country Western, Rap, R&B, Hip Hop or other forms of music today? To me – I truly enjoy listening to the “Oldies” – they do bring back fond memories of my past. I think over the years – I have wiped out the bad memories and these songs only bring forth the good ones. With today’s world – not that my past did not have it’s problems – I worry that young people may not associate today’s music with “making memories” for tomorrow. Guess that I won’t be around to find out – but I sure hope that I am wrong because music could be a source of comfort for the Old Geezers of tomorrow.
