I’m pushing 80 – and over the years – I have been to numerous locations and have had many people cut my hair. A few years ago – I decided to book an appointment at Beauty Brands. Just dumb luck paired me with a person who gave me the best haircut of my life – her name is Brynn. She is professional, personable, sincere, caring, and the best darn hair stylist in the Kansas City area – as far as I am concerned. She told me that she left Beauty Brands because she was tired of subjecting her clients, and herself, to the toxic chemicals she was using. Just like me – a lot of her clients have moved with her to her new location. The name of that location is Head Case KC https://headcasehairstudio.com/ . From their website they state:

From my visit – I can state that their atmosphere is much better than Beauty Brands. It is tranquil, cozy, and comforting. I recommend it to anyone – especially if you ask for Brynn! Head Case KC is located directly across from the historic Kansas City River Market:
“Busy River Market centers on City Market, dating to 1857, where casual global eateries, gourmet grocery stores and indie boutiques surround pavilions hosting a weekend farmers’ market.”
It’s a neat place to visit and the Head Case KC business fits perfectly there. Developers are continuing to add to the area – including KCPC Stadium – the home to the Kansas City Current soccer team. This is the “first” purpose-built stadium for a women’s professional sports team.
Sporting my new hairdo from yesterday – I have to say that Beauty Brands was a few blocks from my house. In comparison – the drive to Head Case KC is considerably farther. However, Brynn is worth the drive. In fact – I would probably walk 500 miles just to get to her door:
