Cautious

Cautious is my Guiding Word,
Some might Think it’s Quite Absurd.
Even though I’m quite Uptight?
Hope it Helps me Stay Upright.

Walking Up and Down a Stair,
Putting on My Underwear.
Simple Shopping at the Store,
Even standing on the Floor.

Headed to the Street’s Mailbox,
Even putting on My Socks.
Up at Night to Drain my Bladder,
Light Bulb change on a Step Ladder.

Doing Laundry and the Dishes,
In a Small Boat catching Fishes.
Sweeping up Some Broken Glass,
On the Road wanting to Pass.

Cleaning up with Mop or Broom,
Moving Junk from Room to Room.
Reality is what I know,
Since I Hit the Big Eight-O.
