The One Compliment Rule

Simply put – this would be a voluntary rule whereby – once per week – a person must give another person (who holds a contrary viewpoint) a heartfelt compliment.  This can’t be a childish T&A compliment – it must be realistic and something that takes some thought in making.  One cannot compliment another person more than once within a given year.  This would mean a person would have to give 52 compliments – to 52 different individuals – throughout a 12 month period.  The obvious target – of this rule – would be politicians who constantly say that they want to work together, while at the same time, verbally bashing their opponents at a moments notice.  But this could apply to all mankind in all countries around the world.  With a world population – of approximately 8.23 billion as of 2025 – that would be a heck of a lot of compliments.  Who knows – this might have a gigantic affect on the turmoil around our shared earth?
