Freedom of Speech

The Freedom of Speech was Given to All,
Created Back then and Still standing Tall.
It’s listed as “First” and Not so by Chance,
Forefathers were Smart by taking a Stance.

Prior to This – Not even ask Why,
Or Subject to Prison and Maybe could Die
No wonder this One’s the First that they wrote,
And Now it’s the One that So many Quote.

I fear There are Some who Confuse its Intent,
By Thinking its Theirs with Special Content.
The truth Is a Fact – I surely must Tell,
Free Speech is for You “and” Others as Well.
