My Man Cave

No giant TV hangs on My Wall,
No poor Dead Animal stands in the Hall.
No Pool Table with Green Felt on Top,
No leather Couches on which to Flop.

No Darts to Throw while Tipping back Beer,
No Harley Props or Athletic Gear.
No dazzling Trophies to Show off my Might,
No Toys of Manhood – no Where in Site.

Just an Old Desk way Past its Prime,
An old Laptop way Past its Time.
Some old Momentous of Places I’ve Been,
With memories Fresh – they Just make Me Grin.

But this is My Place – the Best in My Home,
Where I can Reflect and Just be Alone.
