Happy Birthday Old Man!!!!

My good friend John turns 80 today.  We met in grade school in Minot, North Dakota – became close friends until I moved away the middle of my Junior Year of high school.  Following my Senior Year – I drove up from Nebraska to stay with him for the Summer.  We worked for a sodding company – extremely hot and dirty work.  We lost track of each other after that until we reconnected a few years ago – I am so grateful that we did.  We now text each other every day – he lives in Connecticut and I live in Missouri.

I told him that he and Bob Seger are the same age – even born in the same month.  I told him that it was only fitting that “Come to Papa” become his theme song throughout his 80’s.  I also said the these girls dance only for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!
